In May 2018 Channel 4 showed an episode of Our Wildest Dreams that was all about us (Lyndon and Ruth Pinches) building Pinnon Lodges. It was amazing for us looking back 2 years to where we were and how we overcame the challenges we had building a safari lodge in the bush with zero experience and a tight budget (not to mention the broken arm and pregnancy complications!).

Team Pinnon Reunites
Ruth and Indianna have finally arrived safe at Pinnon Safari Lodge, Kafue National Park. Now fully up and running, the adventure really begins. Currently we are living in Kingfisher chalet while the builders finish our house.
Brazen Leopard Hunting Along the Road.

Lion kill on site
This morning at Pinnon Safari lodge we woke up to see large numbers of vultures circling above us. When we looked closer we saw 3 large lioness feeding on a puku carcass. Within an hour the lions had finished and the vultures are what remained. All that is left now is some small bones for the hyenas to finish off tonight.
