Just watched was amazing!!
Very brave but exciting way of life especially with a young family.
Dealing with so much and all the hard work as paid off,
Congratulations to all your family
Loved the programme. I travelled through Zambia, Lusaka to Malawi in 1999, after Operation Raleigh expedition in Zim. We got jailed for 2 days on way to Malawi! My children and wife are bored of story. Enjoy your time in that wonderful country. Stay safe
Chris
Hi. After our ‘episode’ in Zambia, we made it to Monkey Bay for 4 incredible days, beach life, boat trip, snorkeling, feeding the Malawi Cichlids, we then bussed down to Blantyre for Christmas, camping on the very colonial cricket pitch and visiting weather friends staying in the Blantyre Hotel for Christmas day cocktails in the pool! I remember picking tea towards Malanji mountain reserve and drinking some of the best tea ever in a tea hut!
We then preceeded North towards Tanzania, we stop to visit I believe the mission at Livingstonia ( possibly) and also stopped to cook a amazing fish ( I assume chambo) for 8 of us, I kindof rented a restaurant ( charcoal burners) bought the fish, spices, rice etc. Special time for me! Also eating goat from a street vendor, cooked in metal tray then dipped in salt. Few of my Malawi memories. Wish I kept a better diary!
You guys are doing great, making memories, especially for your lovely children! Smash it
I have just come to the end of watching your program with Ben, I loved it, I love your tenacity, devotion, and above all your love for all of nature and each other.
We are out in KZ Natal in Ladysmith at the Nambiti reserve in April but I would love to try and book with you soon.
My old school friend has lived in the Gambia where he set up the Gunju Project years ago and he loves life and what he dose.
You take care of the four of you and truly you are an inspiration, well done take care and God Bless.

Very much enjoyed the programme! What an amazing place you live in, and what courage and vision you have to follow your own dream and make it happen. An incredible upbringing too for your lovely family. We wish you every success for the future.
Truly awe inspiring & full respect to you in Raising your family in such an amazing part of the world . I wish you all the success you deserve. Everything you & your team do to raise awareness for our Fragile Earth by offering Safaris in a sustainable way is great.
I so enjoyed watching what you have achieved. I was reminded of the many trips I had to the wilder parts of Kenya with my daughter who was teaching there and in particular the memory of a white knuckle boat trip across Lake Baringo to Island Camp when we were surrounded by hippos. Good luck with your future ventures
Interesting programme, well done on persevering and succeeding in building your dream.
We previously visited Zambia just over 6 years ago and would love to return one day. I have book marked the lodges website, hopefully it won’t be too long before we can plan our next trip.
Good luck with your future plans
Hi,
Great episode and lovely family. Really inspiring!
33 years in the Army myself I can relate to your story. I hope to get out to you this or next year. Stay strong, stay low and move fast.
Hi
My wife and I had our honeymoon in Zambia and Malawi, countries full of friendly people. Very happy memories and lots of Africa stories! We visited Kafue NP – such a beautiful wild place. Looks like you’ve got a great spot by the river and done an inspirational job building the lodge. Must return to Zambia. Keep safe.
My husband and I have just watched the programme and love what you have achieved. Well done and it would be great to visit you one day. Best wishes Diane and Jon S, Cumbria, UK.
A lovely little insight to life at Pinnon Lodges.
